shes all done!! check the pics AMP DRAW UPDATE
i got a napa in jello town (lol) i like autobone and advanced junk b/c they are large and carry alot of parts... i should check out what chili has... same distance from me... hell i should go to roch .. extra 10 mins but theres a pepboys and few hole in the walls there ic ould check out
yea wheres indy? i want to know what he thinks about my mods... he's prolly chaning up that motor of his b/c he knows im coming for him!!! lol
yea dude i got a bad habbit of jackin any thread!lol
as far as ignition... MSD6A and a Blaster3 with 8.5 mm wires and a mopar cap and rotor... kept the old plugs b/c there only 3 months old.. champion truck plugs... ill go to a colder plug when its time to swap them out...
as far as harness wise i didnt cut into the factory coil harness .. i got an accell harness and cut that up so i could have a quick disconnect... i wrote upa DIY and has a pic in there and explanation how i did it..check it out when you get a chance..pretty slick..
i never really considered napa being a performance shop type like autobone or advanced junk is (or should be) but ill be going there first to check on parts...

Heay Henrieta is just on the otherside of the 90 isn't it? I'm sure there is a Autozone there.
WOW, Im gone for a short while and missed all the excitement. Looks good there shott!!
The only thing I would do different is move the temp sensor to the bottom of the rad as Steve mentions. I have mine attached to the side of the metal frame for the rad rather than poking threw like you did.
You can see what I mean in this pic when I first tested it. Moved it down to the bottom when I was sure it was ok. (no pic in bottom location)

holy crap indy where ya been?!?!?!?!?!?!
yea after i get the second controler in im gonna monkey wil the placement of the actual probes to see wheres the most accurate....id LOVE to be able to get that probe actually IN the coolant but like you sid i rather not break the seal in the hose... was thinkin about dirllin and tapping a hold in the inlet fitting on the actuall rad but not sure about the sealin process and how well it would hold up...and then id have a hole in there that would be a PITA to fix...
can you explain or take a pic of the bottom location you were talkin about? not sure what you mean... im thinkin your talkin about the outlet bottom end of the rad where the cool coolant goes back into the engine...
if you read above im prolly gonan go with 2 seperate controllers ....each fan on there own seperate circuits so ill have 2 thermo switches withh all sorts of override options

when you say to the bottom, do you mean the bottom on the inlet side? I would think you'd want the first sensor to be close to the incoming coolant so that in the event it gets hot quick for some reason, the delay for the fan to kick on is minimal. What I mentioned was ment for the 2nd fan contoller... if you put the 2nd probe by the output of the radiator, then if it's too hot still, the 2nd fan should kick in. That way the 2nd fan would never turn on unless the 1st fan is not keeping up. I'm not sure if that's the best way to do it or not but it seems like a good idea anyway... you could always kick the 2nd fan on when the a/c is on as well.
