If gutting a cat or removing the cat is so horrible why do companies like magnaflow put out special y-pipes that you guessed it have absolutly no cat what so ever in them. What do they give the name of everyone who buys one to the gov. I think not. Illegal or not it is the readers choice weather or not he/she takes action and performs the task. Oh and mdoffroad gutting a cat is very very diffrent for making crank or blowing up a building. If you're goinng to make comparisons please have them make sense.

 

Indy, the reason they have those items and the way they can sell them leaglly is the disclaimer of "Not For Highway use". Duh!

 

exactly, the original poster never said he was using the truck on the street.
also, he didn't say he WAS gutting the cat, just that he has never done it and would like to know how. its not illegal to know to do something.
