I get 13.5 normal city driving with my 5.9L, but when I pull my 16ft enclosed trailer I get right at 10 on the highway.

11-12 Around Town
13-14 Highway

You also have to take into consideration the gas that is being used. Gas that has a higher amount of ethonal will get less mileage.

I am averaging between 13 and 14 doing mostly highway driving. I was curious about the o2 sensors too. Does a code trip when they need to be replaced? I have 2 on mine one before the cat and one after. Is the front one the one that monitors air/fuel mixture? I have 72K on mine and thinking it may be time to replace them.

I've done a ton of hwy driving lately cruise on 75 mph 2000 rpm's depending on what area of the country I get 14.5 to 15.5 mpg around towm 11 to 12mpg.

I have a transglo shift kit in the box setting here debating on installing it or not. Those that have a shift kit did you notice any mileage change after you installed it? Also how many miles on your truck when you installed the shift kit?

98 ram 5.2 with 33's and steel wheels. K&N fipk and a light foot 90% of the time and ALL city driving and i'm getting 10 miles to the gallon. I'm going with some headers and a new exhaust soon and that will help the air flow and my mileage a little more. I was getting 7mpg before I put the intake on. I suggest you guys pick up a K&N fipk, more ponies and I got 3 more miles to the gallon. $335 though.

To all dodge owners, i have figured out the gas mileage problem, get a decent scraper and if u look under ur right foot you will see about a million pounds of lead, start scraping and watch the gasmileage go up!

Yep.. Gas prices suck as bad as bad gas mileage..
