Thanks again, Paul
LMC and I think JC Whitney offer full lower door panels. I have never used aftermarket full doors. I found one at a junkyard and installed it.

Ok, not to appear absurd but what was that comment about filling the doors with oil?

My driver's door started and had an estimate of 2grand a door, still looking for a bodyman, not a bolt on man, in my area.

I live in Michigan where I swear the road commissioners dump salt on the roads just because they're bored. My boss has a '98 3/4ton ram without a spot of rust on it, even on the undercarriage. What he does every fall (before the first real snow) is spray the entire underside of the truck with drain oil. He also squirts a little bit inside the door panels, and fenders. He then drives down a dusty dirt road for a few miles to help the oil stick. It's kept his truck rust free for over 10 years. I'd do the same thing for my truck, but it's already too far gone

To answer the original question, LMC truck makes replacement door and fender panels, however I have no experience with them.

my right rear fender, and left rear cab corner have the worst rust, and it pisses me off, the rest of the truck looks pretty damn good for a 14 year old truck

Ugh I know what you mean. My truck has no rust on the body for the most part except for the doors. It's not too bad but I know it's something I gotta sand down.

Not too worried. It's my beater truck but I still like to keep it in once piece and lasting for many years. Plus rust makes me cry.

Replacement doors are hideously expensive. Over 500 bucks a side, just for a bare door. I don't even wanna know what the dealer would want for one......

Junk yard is going to be your best bet.

good to know thanks again. I'm assuming the rear fender/ drivers side of the bed, that can is a bolt on rite? I looked at it real brief for like 10 seconds before work and it looked like the bed is framed and that u can un bolt each side rite? My drivers side has alot of rust that is appearing over the wheel well. rather then mess with it and deal with all the rot I was goign to just replace it.

All the bed panels are welded..... the bed itself just bolts to the frame though, so replacing the whole thing isn't that bad. Otherwise... it's weld-in panels.
