Truck dies and starts back up on its own? HELP!!!!!
The cheapest one I can find right now is here: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,2896
That's why I think you should ask some of the experts here before you start throwing money at your problem. This place used to have a number of rebuilds for $66 ... now they've only got one and it's $200 ... The "CCD" indication may be significant but I've never seen it.
Or do you mean where is the PCM on your truck?

Open the hood. Passenger side firewall. Silver box about 3/4" thick (size of a small magazine). 3 large connectors in a horizontal line. 3 screws hold it in place.
Don't know what the problem was with the link to RockAuto ... I clicked it and it went right to the page ...

I have a 93 that was doing the same thing when it was hot here in southern Utah. I replaced cam and crank sensors with no success. Fuel pressure & flow normal. By accident, I leaned my elbow on the PCM wiring where they connect to the PCM. I made the truck die. I found that as I wiggled the Crank Position wire at the PCM I could make the truck stall and "restart" as you describe. I am now in the process of replacing the pins located at the end of the wire bundle where the wire-loom plugs into the PCM. I talked to a dealer in Dallas who said that they had seen this problem quite often and have replaced many wire-loom plugs. The bad news is that Dodge discontinued the repair kit for the 93. (Problem must have been pretty common for Dodge to produce a repair kit?) Does any one have any idea where we can purchase a repair kit, especially the pins?
