The speed/abs sensor on your rear axle is bad. IIRC you can pick one up at NAPA.

Thanks alot guys. This is really wierd just two weeks ago the speed sensor on the tranny went bad, and now this sensor. Were is this one located on the rear end? Do I have to disassemble?
Will I have to use a scan tool to turn the ABS light off?

You don't have to disassemble. It's on the top of the housing...towards the front. You'll see it when you get under there.

The ABS light should turn off after you replace the sensor. If not, unhook the battery for an hour and the codes will reset.

The ABS light will just go out and the speedo (and cruise control) will start working. No need to reset anything.

The only place I can find that carries this sensor is the dealer. Is there any other place or will I just have to buy from them. Does anyone have a part number?

thanks, will

Yea, I ran into that too. NAPA and Advanced Auto only had the sensor that goes into the transmission. I had to go to the dealer for the sensor in the rear end. I'm thinking the price was around $45, about the same as Advanced Auto's price for the tranny sensor.
