RE: Where did you mount your amp
This is my subwoofer amp setup, pretty kick ***, the amp is held down w/ two zip ties which was a pita to wrap back thru, but its ziped to the carpet really good, never moves the sub if anything will lean forward slowing down HARD and the two side rubbers touch the seat well b4 the sub can touch the middle seat and it never overheats, knock on wood, and i can crank it out, my friends sony xplod amp on the other hand sat on carpet trunk and overheated... not really the amp as much as the fact that he overtaxes his system to get everylittle bit of power he can from it, not that it does anygood , doesnt sound nice at all it really can give ya a headache, where as i can blare mine for hours w/out headache his gives me one in 5 minutes.. >< stupid taurus

RE: Where did you mount your amp
Put my small amp under the drivers seat and the larger one under the center front seat. Removed the worthless rear seat drink holder thats under there. It was a lot easier to run the wiring with the drivers seat out. The amp in the center has the wires running along the side of the trans. hump. The amp under the seat has the wires running along with the factory wiring at the door sill. There is a pic of the box in my gallery. I have a pic of the amps at the house I can post later if interested....
