Just wondering where you guys mounted your amp. I'm ordering an mtx thunderform so under the back seat isnt an option. I was thinking maybe behind the backrest of the backseat. Does anyone know how to take that off? Anybody else have a good spot to mount it?
depending on the size of the amp, i def. would not put it behind the seat unless its a cheap ole amp you dont care about. There is not going to be any air flow back there to keep the amp cool thus giving it a short life and potential fire hazard.

i have the MTX thunderform as well and i just drilled a hole in the carpet for the wires to come through and then run the wires under the carpet/doorsill
i have my amp and 2 ten inch subs under the back seat. i pulled up the carpet and ran all the wires under the carpet all wrapped up. my amp is mounted on a piece of 16 alumium so it reflects the heat. the amp runs really cool actually.
all i had to do was take out the drivers seat. you might not even have to do that. i just pulled up the carpet under the dash enough to get the wires under. then ran them over to by the door. theres that pannel that sits on the edge of the door. theres like 4 screws in it. remove it and there was like a channel i just ran all the wires in. then up behind the panel by the back speaker and then i cut a hole in the carpet were the amp was going to go and pulled the wires under the carpet and in. having the seat out deff. made it easier though.
