Starter bolts, and oil pan drain plug 5.2L
First off, whoever said the starter bolts were 5/8", and the oil drain plug is 5/8", I beg to differ! On my '98 1500, 5.2L, the actual head size is a 16mm, on both the starter, and oil pan drain plug! You don't need a deep socket either, but a standard 16mm, with a long (6") extension works perfectly on the starter! But this is useless information for me! I need actual bolt size, length, and threads! If I go by what's been posted so far, if I could even get a bolt started, I'd be tearing up the threads on my transmission! I'm glad you're posting a bolt list, but you might want to verify the actual bolt sizes, before you post them!

Small nut size on alternator?
I see the outside size of the smallest nuts holding 2 wires connected to a square black box as 5/32. I have other 5/32 nuts (looks like fine thread) but they do not fit suggesting course threads. Can anyone confirm the size or perhaps how to get the one missing nut I have (Please no puns...LOL)?
