http://www.southeastrt.com/ Go there and find the email address for John Mercedes. Send him a email and he can help you out with a set of Harland sharp roller rockers. I order my non adjustable 1.7s from him and I think that it was about $320 shipped. This guy really knows his stuff and has helped me a lot.

I think the Harland Sharps are bolt on while the others like Comp Cams are needing to be adjusted, which is easy but a little time consuming.

The harland sharp non adjustable ones are just bolt on. You just unbolt the old ones and bolts these on and torque them down to I believe it was 21inch lbs.

you may have to put the motor in a "neutral" position when installing them. when i fixed my passenger side head a few years back I just bolted them down to spec and had no problems at all. then when i put it back to stock, I read in the manual about the neutral position thing after I did the install, set it per the book, went back on a few of the rockers to check the torque and they were all good so I left it.

With the Harland Sharps, that "neutral position" stuff is not necessary. No lash adjustments needed either. Also, since they are shaft mounted, you no longer need guideplates. They fit under stock valve covers too. I think HS rockers are the only way to go in my opinion.

Who is the source for HS rockers? I think I will convert my truck to those when I am down again for the transmission rebuild.
