No I didn't go all the way. I left a little bit of metal. I don't believe there's enough room to move it to justify grinding it all the way.

The picture shows plenty of metal left above the bolt and that's as far as I can move the sensor, it is now resting against the bell housing.

I took a better look and couple more pictures. The metal I thought was the bracket is actually the mounting point below so I have a little more room if I grind the bolt hole right out. I might try seeing if I can get it to go a little more but I'm not sure yet.

EDIT: AS you might be able to tell I got a little bored today and pulled things out of my truck just so i could investigate it and take pictures. I might have to look into getting a life!! lol.

thanks for the pics, i appreciate it. I went in today and took it out again and cut out the holes out to slots. It feels like it might be running a little better now but its been raining all day and when i get on it my tires spin like they always have... going to have to wait untill it dries up to see how i am from a stop.

I also tried grinding the edge of the sensor to see if I could get it to go further. There's a little there that can be taken off but I didn't need it yet as I haven't ground out the holes all the way yet.

One of these days I'm going to cost myself a Sh** load of money playing with all my sensors.

Your braver than me. I thought of doing that too but was kinda scared to over do it. Let me know how it goes.

Well the truck still runs. I guess I haven't ruined the sensor yet.

I at first thought that it was as far as it could go because of the bell housing but after I put it back in and got a couple better pics(I really need to get a small mirror) I realized that it's as far as it could go in the bracket so I'll have to pull it again and grind the rest out of the bracket if I want to move it anymore.

EDIT: Plus someone has to be the dumbass to try it. Might as well be me.
