I'm just curious, what are those two blue things that say mopar magnum in RM Indys pic, the two on each side of the motor?
Are you serious?

Maybe i should just take to to a mech to do it quick and easy?
those 2 blue things are valve covers.

i think everyone still thinks youre talking about the thermostat.

the first mod i did to mine was a flowmaster exhaust. mind you im runnign the V6 here. but i went single 2.25 inlet to dual 2.5 out, then 3" magnaflow tips. i also had a magnaflow high flow cat put on, but that was only because the stock one failed. if money is tight, like it is with msot on here, i wouldnt replace anything unless it broken or getting there. i replaced the exhaust when i noticed the muffler looking raddy.

i also recently put a k&n drop in air filter in. they were on sale and i was tired of trying to get the new airhat for my intake to fit properly. im happy with it so far.

oh, and ive NEVER used the search function. but i read about 75% of the posts regardless of whether its something ive dealt with before or not. liek someone said, i still learn alot from most of the posts.
Holy crap ... 2.5" duals on a V6? Did you retain any torque at all?

My first mod was the K&N drop-in. Everyone told me I would see a performance/MPG gain with it. Realized exactly 0% on both. Do enjoy the extended maintenance interval with it though.

I read 100% of the posts ... I'm at work so I get paid to do it ... and it's fun.

Will any of this help with the fact that the area between 50mph and 60mph seems incredably dead?

a CAI that uses pvc pipe instead of aluminum will work much better.......aluminum will transfer heat much faster than pvc

I'm honestly not sure, it seems to gun out of gear unless i give it gass then it'll downshifty, accell then i can lay off and it'll upshift and cruise fine.
