as a matter of fact i have little buddy, i just traded in a 1998 ram 1500 which i had a 7'6 curtis snow plow on, and it had horrible sagging issues, so i jumped on ebay, and grabbed a nice set of used 2500 springs, and a rear add a leaf, and swapped them on, which low and behold added a good 1.5-2 inches of lift on the front and back. thanks for asking.

you're a fuking tard.

Did you just listen to what you just said?

You had sagging springs to begin with, so of course a set of "non" Sagging springs will lift your truck.
and

If the springs were from a v10 or a diesel you would have gotten more.

I never said 2500 springs wouldnt give you lift.
I said 2500 v8 and 2500LD springs wont give you 1.5 to 2 inches. unless (like in your case) you have sagging springs.

Now you made me have to dig into my archive

yeah your soooooo right OMG!!!!! d0od listen to me retard its a simple math put a 1500, and a 2500 side by side, and the 2500 is easliy 2 inches taller maybe more.

and when i said sagging i was referring to the springs with the plow installed, it sat at factory height when the plow wasnt on, and factory height is easily 2 inches higher on a 2500.

im not gonna argue with someone who obviously has no ****ing clue.

How many Dodges have you lifted? How much of your own work have you done. Dont sit there and be an Armchair mechanic and tell me I dont know what the *** Im talking about.
Ive installed many lifts and built my dodge up my self. Yes thats right People still do things themself.
You maybe put those coils in yourself. But Im sure you had someone there holding your hand and changing your diaper.
If you can read then I'll give you some material
see the link on this thread refering to the skyjacker 7" coils from a 1500 and a 2500 gas being the same part number.

nice pictures. They dont do a thing for me.

Ive seen 1500s sit higher than 3500 (both 4x4)
Ive also seen 1500 (4x4) look like low riders. Ive seen 1500s fit 33s and Ive seen 1500 rub with 285s.
There are tolerances on all vehicles what do you want me to tell you? That every coil is going to give the exact same lift? That every truck sits at the exact same heighth.

I can post more links of people that actually lifted their trucks saying that they didnt get any lift or very little from v8 2500 springs.
There are a few people that did get some lift. LIke appartently you.
The reason why I posted up because the majority (pretty much all) of the people (including myself) that had added v8 2500 did get the lift they thought they would. So I would hate for someone to over pay for a set of 2500 coils from a v8 2500.

This means nothing. The 2500 v8 has a D60 axle that could make the spring perch sit higher. the rear block is 4.5 from the factory and the 1500 rear block is 3"

So whats your point?

you must be retarted, lol d0od listen to yourself, first off im not debating the fact that skyjacker springs have the same part numbers for the 1500-2500, im telling you that stock 1500 springs, and stock 2500 springs are TOTALY diffrent and will provide atleast 2 inches of lift.

the 1500 front springs are half ton springs, the 2500 springs are 3/4 ton, they are fatter and taller, but im sure you knew that.

and d0od you dont impress me with your cool lifted truck stories, im not into lifting trucks, and offroading, i could care less, and trust me no one is holding my hand when im working on cars/trucks as a matter of fact i have a turbo car which i custom built everything for ie: manifold, downpipe exhaust, everything, so dont try and talk to me like your some master truck builder, haha your a tool t0ol.
