So,.... would 2500 v10 coils vs 2500 diesel coils give you 3" or more lift on 1500?

So after all that, I think the answer is:

1500 = stock
2500 gas = lift
2500 diesel/v10 = more lift

I'm SOOO Confused.... Does it matter the year of manufacture of said truck.. ie.. does a 94 1500 stock spring trade easily with a 00 2500-LD/V8/v10? (notice i"m not taking a side).

I think the springs for the 1500 are basically the same, thoughout the 94-01 model years, but, the 2500/3500 springs are a half inch wider than the 1500 springs in the back.

For the fronts, there might be some variation in spring rates over the years, but, you can put the meaner springs in the lighter truck. Don't think the year matters.
