You can see mine on the cardomain link in my signature...I have a CB and Scanner, so I have two 4' firestiks using a firestik stake mount...A cb which is mounted on the driver side and the scanner which is mounted on the passenger side. I like these...I am going to add a cab gaurd and tool box some day soon, so that is why I picked the mounts I did...
K-40 mounted on my toolbox. If you do this you have to run a ground wire from the mount to the frame to get a good ground. I like it - had it this way since day 1. K-40 is a good antenna, and it has a twist lock base so you can remove it quickly for car washes, garages, etc.....

i have a 2ft firestick mounted just off the left front corner of the bed, sort of in that little hollow spot between the bed and cab. homemade bracket bolted to the top edge of the bed. 3in spring. i can drive into the garage and clear the door. reception is not as good as a big whip on top, but good enough.

Looks like you need to swap to stainless bolts
Got Me! I was waiting for someone to say something about that.....[8D] I know. Looks like crap. I didn't have any stainless ones when I put it on there 5 years ago - and I keep thinking that one of these days I'm going to fabricate a different bracket that is a little taller and change out the bolts then......I need 36 hours in a day [sm=sigh.gif]
Socha, how do you have your duals grounded since they are on the toolbox like mine?
