Default 1994 1500 WheelBearings

Ok, lots of problems I'm going to try and tackle here I guess this weekend?!

Truck is a 1994 1500 4x4 Regular Cab Long bed. The front end is pretty mucked up.

*This is what I've been told*
It needs new wheel bearings on both sides.
It needs new Brake pads/calipers and rotors.
It needs a new (rebuilt) powersteering pump.

I've taken brakes apart and put them back together on a few cars/trucks including a 2001 1500 4x4.
I've done the wheel bearings on my F250, but I'm not sure if they're different on this truck? I've gotten as far as pullin the axle on a dodge so disassembly probably won't be hard... a writeup would be nice...
I've NEVER installed a powersteering pump but I can turn a wrench or 2, anybody got a write up for that?

Who told you all that stuff is wrong with it? Wheelbearings are one unit with the hub on these, so they're expensive. Like $200 each. Replacing them you just need to remove the tire, caliper, 3 12point bolts from the back of the knuckle, and the 1 11/32" bolt from the hub then bound of get a puller and yank the hub out. If the hub hard to turn by hand? Can you wiggle it up down side to side or anything? Or does it make a grinding sound when you turn? Just trying to figure out why they said you need new ones.

Brakes area easy, could do it when your doing the wheel bearings since all the stuff has to come off anyways.

The powersteering pump just bolts in and the lines go in. No problem, really easy.

This just in, it's NOT 4wd its a 2by... crap. [sm=bangbang.gif]. I know NOTHING about the front of a 2wd but I'm sure it's not much different. I'm sure the brakes will be nothing and I planned on replacing them while in there doing the wheel bearings. Yeh the wheel bearings for the 4x4 are in a unit as I recall off of kyle's truck (20dodgeram01) and just like my superduties and that is simple. I'll be checking it out tomorrow after this rain stops.... I'll jack it up, test the wheels, and crap. I can DEFINATELY tell you that the PS pump is BADDDDDD and that the brakes are worse. It also stalls but hasn't been driven in a while so maybe that's why. I was told by my girlfriends dad who lives in florida who's flying up here and driving it back after I fix it! [sm=goodidea.gif] not.
It definately needs a new battery, brakes, ps pump and I'll get all that ordered tomorrow morning before I even test out the bearings.

Any info will help, thanks.

Ok here's an update...

ALL BALL JOINTS ARE SHOT. Wheel bearings seem fine. Changed the oil, starter, battery and did some trouble shooting and finally got her running. Then used some seafoam to clean the inside out some but it still won't stay idling... not sure why. It's a 318 v8 if anybody can help.

I got some video's... check em
Bad ball joints -- they all look like this...

I'll post up the white smoke that poured out later on here...

Kyle got a flat last weekend at the levies...

Need 2 things
-Ball Joint repair on 2wd
-Why won't it just idle?
