Ok, I see. I bought the same mopar performance air cleaner except I ordered it thru John at SouthEastRT along with my Rockers and other goodies. I am going to wait until I order my Fastman throttle body before installing it. That should give me enough time to figure out the K&N setup. Thanks silver!

I put about 100 miles on the truck today, I had some site visits to make. It definately makes less sucking/whistling noise with the 3" filter versus the 2". It seems like the truck did take a few miles to get used to the new filter. I didn't hit WOT at all today, but had some mid-throttle accelerations and it picked up beautifully. I'm definately pleased with the performance. So to answer Racinfan83's original question, Yes for performance. Not sure yet on mileage.
I posted new pictures in my gallery that I took in the daylight, so the detail is a little clearer.
Silver, I did fold down the upper portion of the radiator flaps to bring more air in from the front of the truck. I can't say how much it helps, but it seemed like it should.

RM_ Indy - Could you please post the part # of the 14" x 3" K&N filter you have on yours? I'm having a hard time finding one here. I really need two - one for my Nova also.......

That is the correct part #
