Plenum Gasket

RE: Plenum Gasket
the plenum is the pan that is bolted onto the underside of your intake manifold. the gasket is inbetween the plenum pan and the manifold. if you take your throttle body off and look straight down, what you would be looking at is the plenum pan. if you look in the corners and see oil pools you have a leak.
look at your computer and check to see if you have a sticker that says something like "authorized software upgrade".
if you do a search on it you should have enough knowledge on it to do a repair with a blindfold and have one arm and two legs tied behind your back with a ball gag in your mouth.

RE: Plenum Gasket
Where can I find what the computer looks like because the only box I see is under the stearing wheel tucked near the firewall and there is no sticker like you described. There is a square sticker with no bar codes and a paragraph describing compliance with codes. The only other labeling is attached to the back of the outside of the glovebox and it is hard to read but has the word supplier on it, some numbers and two bar codes. What determines whether or not a Death Flash sticker is applied? Thanks for the help.

RE: Plenum Gasket
here is a writeup on it... its an easy fix, https://dodgeforum.com/m_249261/tm.htm
I think there is a link to a TSB that has another way of checking for a leak. the visual is the best way however.
