X or H, or neither, just go str8 back and dont worry about crossing or connecting them

you dont connect true dual at all.. from each header you run it straight back. meaning 2 cats.. 2 mufflers. like "ll".. "H" is running both headers into 1 muffler (usually 2 cats though) and dual exhaust out.. "Y" is running both headers into a single cat and muffler

h pipe is 2 cats(if desired/required) and 2 mufflers(if required/desired) boss. why would you have 2 cats and 1 muffler? H pipe just has a connecting pipe to balance out pressure.

kinda figured where the pipes come together is where it comes into the muffler.. then splits back out to dual exhaust.. 2 cats.. then the pipe comes together

so the H pipe is required or no?

you need an H pipe to connect the exhause together, otherwise its like running two 4 cylinder engines in your truck instead of one 8 cylinder. the H pipe or x pipe makes both sides of your engine run right instead if fighting eachother.
