This bodes ill, since Phoenix is one of the worst areas for unisured drivers, most of them in the country illegally. No doubt he'll try to sue you since you have insurance. I've seen that happen here too. The cops are supposed to ticket him if he's uninsured...ooops this is Phoenix, my bad.
Be glad they didn't ticket you because you did.

nah just got a quote from the stealership, knowing their estimate will be higher than **** so it's better on my end when i talk to the insurance guys...
I also had a thought pop in my head, the passenger door damage doesn't really worry me that much, but i was wondering if it would just be easier to replace the bed of the truck instead of hasseling with trying to fix everything???

that don't make much sense to me. if you want to keep your truck why go to a place thats gonna give a high estimate? Then the insurance will total it. If its only worth 6 something thats all their gonna give you for it not the 8 that it would cost to fix it. I would think going to a good body shop that gives a lower estimate that the insurance will cover so you get your truck fixed and back would be a better idea.
true, but to be honest i haven't decided if i'm gonna try and get it fixed or get something else. All I'm seeing is dollar signs right now lol
About the bed, would it be easier to replace the bed of the truck or take it to a shop somewhere and have them work on the existing one

humm I'd think prolly getting a junkyard bed would be easier. Hell if you had the time and smarts to do it yourself you could buy a junkyard bed with everything (lights, tailgate, bumper) Swap that out yourself then get the door or what ever fixed at a shop it wouldn't cost too much. I might be wrong though
