Im looking for new shocks all the way around on my ram. I just want to know what brand is the best bang for my buck. I have a 98 Ram 1500 4x4 I dont have a lift. Thanks, Jake

 

I had Trailmaster SSVs on mine and thought they were great. Pretty decent price too. I still have one from before my lift. (I don't know if I can still use it or if it's just gonna collect dust for eternity though.)

 

i got the procomp es3000's and they suck.. if you got the cash ive heard nothing but raves about the rancho 9000's adjustables.. and with the optional air operated control unit you can adjust the ride from the comfort of your cab.. which is what ill be going with when i get around to it.

 

if your cheap like me go to advance auto parts or whatever your local parts place is and i got monroe shocks for 20 bucks a piece and it raised my truck 3 inches and the ride is awesome now

 

depends what you use your truck for ? stock replacement works fine for daily driving ..If you do some off road rancho is good ...I still have my factory shocks on waiting for them to start leaking or fail insp. before i replace.

 

What is a goodset for haulin loads around. I pull a inclosed with a racecar in it on the weekends

yes they did..i couldnt believe it put new monroe shocks on cheapest ones in stock and after installation my truck no longer fit in my garage and it barely fir before i had to let some air out of the tires to get it out

how is this possible? how do shocks lift a truck three inches? i can see it doing it a half inch or so just if their real stiff....... but not 3 inches?
