Default Warning about Ebay Intakes

Just recieved the intake I bought off of ebay today and went to put it on. Guess what, it doesn't work. Here is what I bought.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270090897230

Here is the story.
So I took off my intake and went to put this thing of beauty on. It really does look nice. I comes with an angled piece of metal dowel that is threaded on both ends. I soon found out that you must remove the piece the intake bolts to because of the flange on the firewall will not allow you to screw this dowel into this piece. After doing this, I soon realized that the dowel was to long. It also stopped tight in the wrong position (because it is bent to go only in one place). I had to back it off 1/2 turn which made it loose. Once I put the intake on, you couldn't tighten the nut down on the top.

I called the company to find out the solution. They asked me to take pictures of the problem and email them to their mechanic. My response was that I am receiving a full refund for the product. Apperantly, they have no solution for this problem so they sent a pickup for FedEx.

Just thought I would warn anyone who is looking at this product. Atleast not for the 5.2l

yeah,
learn by mistake, oh well. I was hoping to get that thing and just replace the filter with a K&N, but oh well.

I have a question though. When I working on it, I noticed the stock piece I was referring to above (what is that piece called anyway that sits right on top of the manifold and is held by four bolts), says holley on it. Is this an aftermarket piece?
thanks

It is your throttle body and is probably stock since Holley made them.

You mean to tell me that the 1/4 piece of metal is the TB. I believe you, but I just didn't see any fuel hose or anything running to it. Oh well

I wouldn't have bought from this from ebay, but I was really only wanting the aluminum intake. The filter would make a nice lamp shade for the garagesomething.

there is no fuel lines cause you should have injectors for each cylinder...but you the little piece of metal is your TB
