OIL CONSUMPTION
It could be the plenum gasket like they said. I have been searching for the same problem with my oil consumption and I'm leaning towards the failing plenum gasket which likely the same problem you have. Are you having a engine miss around 40-50mph speed? Set your cruise control around 44mph or 45mph and see if you feel a miss.

if its not leaking it, then its got to be burning it. either by sucking it into the intake, leaking/sucking it down the valve seals, or slipping past the rings. i used to just say oil is cheap, engine repairs/rebuilds are expensive. its not cheap anymore, but oil is still cheaper than major repairs. in my old chevy truck after about 200k miles i found that it used less oil with 40w or 50w rather than 10w30 or 10w40.
btw, where did he get his M1 intake ? do you know how much ?

Thanks to all that replyed to my post!
I did notice something this morning when I was letting the truck warm up there seems to be a faintsmell of burning oil thru the exhaust but no blue smoke. I do know one thing when I first got the truck I did an oil change and drove it for about 820 milesafter that. Last weekend was out getting some gas I had stopped at a light and the oil light came on, checked oil level and it wasalmost 3quarts low (GM's WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ha ha!) I will investigate the plenum gasket and probably repair it.
One other question which brand of gasket is recomended and should I use the (Chrysler C.C. Cleaner)?
Thanks Too All!
