whats the big difrence between my 16' ball reciver trailer witch i use to move a bunch of stuff around the farm with compared to a 5th wheel if anything id think its better cause its putting the load over the axel.

and i already have a tranny cooler and break controler for my 16' car trailer and its pulled some mighty loads and this is just tempary till i get my cummins

yea there better cause of load placement u said the new trailer was 20' ft yr old one is 16'ft thats alot more trailer weight with out any load on it. what the weight of the 5th wheel yr going to be putting in the bed of yr truck. are 1500 are like everyday driving not heavy hauling! buy a 3500 cummins. also yr truck needs to be able to hande the weight of the trailer loaded. i got a buddy w a 16x6.5 that thing holds 7,000 or 10,000 that is alot on his 2500 5.9 gas and its not a 5th wheel and hes has a break controler and hes turns that sob up.

as long as you are under the Gross weight you will be fine.. If your gonna tow alot or heavy get a trans cooler ...

There is no reason you can't pull a 5th wheel trailer with a 1500 as long as you stay under the gross combined vehicle weight rating.

With 2 2500lb axles under it you're not going to be towing much. Are you sure thats all the axles are rated for (those are some pretty weak axles for a 5th wheel trailer)?
