okay so this weekend i was on a singles retreat in SEOUL, Korea...i Hear a V8 coming which sounds really familiar! Familiar as in DAKOTA. So sure enough a 4 door silver dakota V8 HO pulls in the parking lot. sounds like a Flowmaster 50 series cause mine is louder when reved up! so i go over to talk to him about it and i was like "hey nice truck sounds good." he says to me and keep in mine this is a MAJOR talking okay "Yeah its not bad for having 350HP from the factory." I asked him "is it a special edition"? he said "no why"....lol "cause sir the 2006 HO only came with 260 hp, and considering i know this because i am on a forum and i drive a 2006 Dakota V8 non HO that makes 230hp" he didnt say another word and just walked off with an "I'm BUSTED" look on his face!

Definitely drop him the site name if you see him again, might want to play it nice if he outranks you though, lol. Maybe he'll learn some things and end up actually pushing 350hp someday.

Back in VA Opie, Jay and I were going to a SOVA meet when we noticed an 06 Dakota with Hemi badges. Thinking he had executed a Hemi swap we stopped and talked to him. He said "Oh yeah, Its got a Hemi straight from the factory. " I asked if I could see it, he started stumbling and said no he had a special hood latch and it was hard to open. I crawled underneath the bumper with him screaming "what are you doing?"

Unfortunately it was a stock 4.7L and I told him he should de-badge it. He was pissed, lol. They are out there.
