Default Out of Hiding: Pics of my DAK

So I've been on here a while and have yet to throw out any pics of my truck.
I've posted a few tech pics of this and that, but never the whole thing,
so here it is in its entirety.
I know its not clean, but today's the first day its been above freezing
and not covered in snow.

First, the new/old grill I was running.
Note: a few people were asking about this.
The paint will flake off after a few months as you can see in my pic.

The NEW HOTNESS:
Just installed this today.
1/2 hole perforated aluminum grill inserts and custom badge.

and Yeah.. I'm rollin 20's...

Here's Two of the grill badge I made incase anyone is interested.

Yes, its OD green behind the logo.
Its very subtle, but noticeable if you pay attention

Here's the full link to my webshots photo dump of my DAK pics
Its got a few more exterior, interior, under hood pics, etc etc.

I'm sure I've got a few other interesting items on the truck, but I guess those will have to wait for a different day...

Rvinyl Foglight tint
$15 for a 24x24 piece and you just cut to fit.
stuff looks great and helps prtect them too.
Good news is that if I ever need to redo them
I easily have enough to do 2 more sets

Thanks... cost was pretty reasonable too, cutting was a pain in the ***, but thats part of what makes it worth while I guess.

Im really thinking about getting one of those bently grilles and sandblasting it, painting the center flat black and doing the edge in body color. Its a sweet grille; it just needs a proper prep and paint job.

I'm no expert in sandblasting, but the entire thing is plastic. You'd probably end up eating through it before you could say OH SHI...

Just googled it; I could just use a strong chemical to strip the paint. Sandblasting would be a no go. My bad. Lol

Damn.. hate to **** on your campfire again, but its plastic.. plastic does not react well to chemical strippers as it eats through the plastic too.

I know from workin on motorcycles that for doing plastics work, your really limited because of the delicate and reactive nature of plastics.
