Default New exhaust system poll??

Ok Its exhaust time for my truck.

Option 1. Purchase Magnaflow cat back dual rear exit exhaust system #16622 100% stainless steel price $500ish plus I have to install it.
Positive - 100% stainless steel, polished stainless steel mufflers, 304 stainless tubing, mandrel bent tubing, lifetime warranty
Negative - I have to do the install, factory y-pipe remains

Option 2. Custom Exhaust shop True Dual exhaust from manifolds exit before passenger rear tire. Includes new cats. $600 out the door from a highly recommended exhaust shop.
Positive - I don't have to install, fully welded, magnaflow cats, magnaflow 2 in 2 out X muffler, chrome square tips.
Negative - 14 gauge aluminized (much thinker than most shops), not mandrel bent, system will last probably 5 years about the legth I plan on keeping the truck

Id go with the premade magnaflow catback, get a new y-pipe and have a shop bolt and weld it up for you. Just my .02, but stainless is going to hold up 1000X better. And you dont really need to do the magnaflow cats .... stockers are supposed to be pretty high flow. Are you running stock manifolds still?

With all the moisture that accumulates in the system and the salt on the roads, some systems dont last 3 years. Plus, a stainless mandrel bent would look alot more professional!

I recall people saying Gibson y-pipe, but have never found anything on it.
