Default New jeep

We went to the dealership to look at some small SUVs for my wife and we bought a 2012 jeep patriot.

Looks good man. What are your thoughts on it? My wife wants a Patriot or a GC.

I love it its got the 2.4L I4 a friend of mine has one too and he says he gets 28ish city and 33ish highway and its awd like this one. Its smaller than what it looks but its got plenty of room on the inside. I can sit in the back seat with the front seat all the way back more comfortably than in the dak. Its got the uconnect radio which is sweet. I didn't know before but it can stream for music via bluetooth too. Its got plenty of ground clearance too. The awd/4wd works pretty good. And it was only 20000 and some change

Looks great man, congrats. Do they still use the continuous variable transmission in those like they did in the Caliber?

when we bought our journey, we test drove a caliber and i was like wtf is wrong with the transmission (did not know it was cvt)...that would take some getting used to....feels exactly like a slipping transmission.

Yes it does. It will defiantly take some getting used to. It's weird that when you let off the gas it slows way down like it down shifted.

Nice man! The other day I swung by the dealership looking at these lil guys. I think its going to be the wife's next vehicle too. She's been saying she wanted and smaller SUV and I think its the tickets. I like the looks and all the features that they have incorporated, on top of it. Now on to some more research.

As the owner of eight Jeep products over 28 years (a J10 pickup, two Wranglers, a Liberty and four Grand Cherokess - Liberty and three of the GCs were the ex's daily drivers), welcome to the fraternity!!!

BTW, we DO have a Jeep section, not much traffic, but it's there...
