Hey guys, just thought i would start a thread to see what other things you guys are interested in? other hobbies, past times, sports, motors?

ill start by introducing my other hobby. snowmobiling. i have a 2007 mxz rev, with a 600 semi direct injection motor, piped, pushing about 130 horsepower. its currently torn down, getting an overhaul and lots of powdercoating and a chassis rebuild because i clipped a tree. im upgrading it all up, and have fabbed some custom chassis bracing, aswell as buying parts of a ex-race sled.

Ive build Computers since I was around 12, MY dad used to bring home non-working ones for work, and Id make them work, or some work with the parts of others. I did that for years before I started playing Paintball, Heres my current computer.

I played paintball for a few years, Played in a League for 1 Season doing Woodsball, We came 2nd place and were also a Rookie team.
Here some of the markers I had, Im done to 1 now, since I dont play nearly as often.
(Custom shortend G36 Front Shroud)

Heres the one I have now.

Once this happened, and got me into cars more, paintball went down hill lol

Rebuilt

6 Months after repairing it, It needed a Manifold, all 4 Ball-Joints and a Tie-rod, Wasnt worth it so I bought my 05 (the repairs would have cost half of what I paid for my 05)
And then all my money went into it lol

g15 and g5 combo, good choice used a g5 for a long time before switching to a g500, then down to a g300.

I hear you about losing one hobby for another.. I can't seem to keep one down for long. I used to race RC cars, was in to model rockets, built computers, then became a work-a-holic, started cycling, went into small robotics, back into building computers, and now my truck takes a lot of my time... and more money than I ever spent with any of my other hobbies.

i used to bowl as well. Put up some pretty good numbers back in the day..over 250. That almost seems like a past life now though.

Same here, although I didn't ever get quite that high, consistently. Usually hovered around the 200 mark.

It is a weekly struggle for me... money towards the Dakota, or towards my custom PC. Usually the wife overrides both of those and tells me to put money towards the house.

We live in a house that was built in 1910, and in the 1980s moved to its current location on top of a then-new foundation. We bought it in 2009. The interior has been remodeled at least once in the early 2000s, and the exterior has fairly new siding and shingles, so its pretty well updated for its age. But a lot of things are still original (or close enough) that we are replacing them as we go. Windows, for example. The pantry window on the back of the house (the window visible in my signature picture) is the next to be replaced, as it is the original window, complete with ropes to metal rollers to small weights inside the walls. Window guy comes out tomorrow to give us an estimate and options for that. Bye bye tax refund.

Oh, and did I mention the previous owner built an oversized, insulated three car garage in 2001 or so?

I am the guy standing by the garage and next to the Jeep in the picture. I am 6' 3" tall, to give you something to relate the size too.
