Default Air Intake Kit

Ok, got a head scratcher for ya. Been looking around, even tried Jegs, for an Air Intake Kit for my 08 Dakota with the 3.7L V6. Jegs says no-go. Any thoughts? Possible custom/part from Autozone?
I did see the thread about the 4 set up choices but not sure about the V6 set up.

Thanks

It looks like K&N 63-1558 fits your truck, double check me though. You can look at K&N's website to confirm.

Pretty good price

I bought one off ebay for my 08 Dakota SLT and it works great. I need to make one of the pipe longer and fab a heat shield, but already averaging higher mpg. K&N and AirRaid make one for you too.

Gents,
Thanks for the replies. Will check out K&N and Ebay, may get lucky. LOL
After seeing some posts about intakes, why are people saying they get loud noises from the engine bay. It's not like a jet sucking in huge amounts of air.
My old truck had an aftermarket intake but never noticed loudness.

If you ever had a 4 bbl carburator and opened the secondaries, thats the sound it makes. Really an awesome sound imo. Kinda of a whoop sound. Also you will hear hissing at some RPM's and also with the ac on (for some reason).

PBC cold air intakes are not a bad idea, plastic stays cooler than metal

I used ABS. Difference not sure but black cleaner and a little more expensive. On my 3.7 I used a regular 90 and the factory rubber grommet no boots necessary.

I recently took the "generic one" I got off ebay off and installed the K&N 77, it is a little deeper sounding. Well worth the money in my mind. Now to put the other one on Craigslist...I also added Pulstar be1 plugs, now just need to do the exhaust!
