Default Would you buy again?

One of the most fundamental questions to ask any car/truck owner.

If you had to do it all over again, would you purchase it again?

For me, as far as the '08 DAKOTA goes,,,,,,,,,,well,,,,,yes AND no.
Yes, I WOULD buy another Dakota, BUT, it would NOT be another
V6/2WD ext cab.
A V8 4X4 4-Door, DEFINATELY!

So how about you?
Would YOU buy your Dakota over again?

just curious.

I WOULD buy again...This forum supplied me with the info of what to look for in another. Like the condition of the front end parts........I find my 4.7 H.O. to be an excellent engine, so would definitely want that! (also the quad cab)

I voted NO. It's a good truck, but far too many shortcuts were taken on new design and each one becomes a PITA to the owner at some point in time. There are things I do like about this truck, but they can all be had on a full sized RAM, which is likely what I'll get for my next truck. I'd certainly consider trading it in now if I could find a full size pickup with a reasonably tight turn radius (Ford has them but I'm not crazy about the brand).

I wouldn't buy another Dakota again. If it weren't for this website, I would think that my truck is the biggest piece of garbage in the world. However, this forum kept me in the loop regarding all of the problems to expect with my truck. And sure enough, most of them have happened.
But after many headaches and many thousands of dollars later, my truck is in good shape - at least for now.

Its actually fairly easy to find a 05+ Dakota here.

I would definitely buy again. It's been a very dependable truck and exactly what I need. There's no other mid-size with the performance (HP + towing capacity) this has. As a bonus, it looks good too!

I would definitely buy again...but I would get the 4.7l 4x4 like OP said...

although I would probably not be as lucky as I was this time...I really haven't experienced any of the problems I've read about on here...but...I am planning on getting a full sized truck (hopefully a RAM) before the Dakota hits 100k...I have an erie feeling that is when its all gonna go downhill...
