GASSSS!!!!
Thanks for the info HankL. I've decided to ride my motorcycle around and put the truck away for a while. I figure I'd have to find a second job to feed both my truck (22 gallons V8) and my wife's min-van (26 gallons V6). Her van gets better mileage than my truck, and my bike gets better mileage than both combined, so I decided to go ahead and start riding it around instead of the truck. Even if the price of gas goes up to $4.00 a gallon, I'm still saving a huge amount of money.
We'll probably see the amount of motorcycles on the road go up since they'rea lot cheaper to operate in more ways than one, which could mean less deaths on motorcycles because people will get used to seeing them on the road.

Yup, thanks HankL. I'm in the process of reading that article now (it is very long!). What I've gotten through is really quite interesting and informative, though.
I'm still driving the truck, mostly because it's all I've got. I will say, my getting laid off last week couldn't have happened at a better time--my gas bills were going to get out of control before too long.
