hahaha. go ahead and listen to stuff in sound rooms. I can make boss sound good in a sound room... IF you take a look at the specs of his speakers, and compair them to good speakers... you will see that they are good speakers on paper... I havent heard them, but I am expecting to around the 1st...
you cant tell anything about a speaker by who makes it... Directed extreme speakers suck... the same company makes Polk MOMO... a super high fidelity speaker. they also make PPI and ORION...

well, just from working around them for the past few years... there are some head units that just sound better than others... Kenwoods are a nice reliable headunit. but if you are looking for great sound quality, alpine or clarion or nakamichi are more down your road.
there is nothing wrong with kenwood... it just doesnt sound as good as teh others. that make sense?
