Default electric fan

www.moesperformance.com had the flex-a-lite black mgic 180 fan for cheap 239.99, comes with all the hardware and electrical connenctions. anyone have experience hooking and using one? or a similiar set up. i know people have used the viper fan but i think this is more for the dakota.

I have an electric fan off of a 1993 Lincoln Continental 3.8L... dual speed elec. fan at 2500cfpm and 5000+cfpm... the wire connector has three wires... a ground, high, and low...

Same size as the radiator, has the shroud, and everything...

I just went to a local salvage yard, found the best looking one they had, cut the connector, unbolted the two 7/16 bolts, and pulled it off...

20 dollars, well spent.

i used something like that kit on my 85 mustang. i used 2 12 inch fans and mounted them in the front so i cleaned up the engine bay a lot. also helped with power. not hard to do. using that kit will make it nice and easy

I have everything ready, except the relays...

Jimbo sent those out to me Saturday, I believe, and they should be here tomorrow...

All I'm doing, is wiring it up to the steering columns power cord, then running a switch, JUST IN CASE, I ever need the extra 2500cfpm from the high setting, it should take all of, 15 minutes to do.... holding it to my radiator via radiator ties..

Don't worry, unlike everyone else, when I do this, I'll have a how-to, with pics from the WHOLE install, not just the finished result.

Good idea Frenchy. I'm going to have to look around for something like that. Too bad I can't find some cams and a S/C for my truck.

I have the black magic fan #180. I also got the variable speed control which is extra. The instructions are pretty good as far as wiring it. Mounting the fan takes a little time and you have to cut the mounting brackets to make it work. Check out my cardomain link and you will see pictures of my install.

Oh, and Frenchy, would you mind posting a few pictures of the fan just sitting out somewhere? I want to get one but it would help if I knew what it looked like when I'm running around the junkyard.
