Default people with electrical knowledge...

I am going to install a switch for my e-fan, so if I need to, I can run my fan on the high setting (which I doubt I'll ever need) but anyways, the switch I have is a 2-pin I/O switch... the pins aren't labeled with a +/- so I don't know which one too hook up to a ground, and which to hook up to the power...

Help me?

plleeeeeeeeeease!

Pics of the switch? Or a model number perhaps? It might not even matter which one is which to be honest but don't blame me if anything bad happens.

Ok it doesn't matter for that switch. Any SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) switch it doesn't matter which side goes to power and which to ground. All it does is make or break a single connection.

is there 2 or 3 conecters on the back? if its 2 one would be power in and the other power out. if there is 3 then one should be a different color and thats the ground, usually the middle one. but I might be wrong.

Ya, thats what my friend told me, and it's working fine, he has an associate's degree in electronics engineering... or something, so I figured he'd know what I should do....

And it works fine! :-)
