hello everybody, the air bag light is allways on, i did check all the fuses and they look ok to me. please help.

 

Is it the one in red by your spedo? or the amber one in the cent for your passenger air bag?



I know after i got my truck i had both lights comming on. I took it back and they found two bad sensors. they were reading an incorrect weight. thus not turning them on.

 

Or it's switched off, if only the middle amber one is on (between the vents) check the passenger airbag switch and make sure it's on.

 

Oh, mine has the weight control and the switch.

 

only the club cabs have that option to turn it off by a switch. The quad cabs do not as they have a full rear seat.

 

Is it on becuase you have it switched off? If you have it turned on and the light is still coming on, see if your cruise control works. If it doesn't, the connection going through your steering wheel needs to be reconnected or replaced.

 

I know I had the little red airbag light in my dash on, for the LONGEST of times.... didn't think nothing of it.... realized I forgot to plug the airbag thing between the vents back in.. and then I plugged it back in and then it went away..
