homade power wire
Hell, it costs me 24 dollars to go to school and home and when I first got the truck, I was getting about 17.8mpg, and it was costing me about 30 or more dollars to go to and from....
I'm glad with the money I've invested into this truck, and what I'm getting out of it.

you do know the pumps don't always click off at the same exact time right?
and there's waaaay too many variables involved regarding atmospheric conditions to really say why you got better mileage. might have even got even BETTER mileage without the mod that day, but the world will never know (humidity can play a huge factor as well, not just air temp)

Ahh, I never thought about the humidity thing... thing I want to know though, is this... if the pumps don't always shut off at the same time, then why is it that when it stops, if I wait about 30 seconds to a minute, and I give it a little bit more gas then it pours out the side.... I agree that all the pumps don't stop at the same time, it's just, when the pump stops for me, I can NOT get anymore gas into it...
when mine clicks off i can usually get another dolla fitty (1.50 haha) in there.. so i dunno (and i should know better about over filling a tank because of the charcoal canister.. but i don't care, i'm lazy and hate stopping for fuel)
