Default LED Question

I am lookin at these spiderlite x2 lights...they are on sale for $30 off...do i have to have a load resistor on it...it is recommended if used as turn signals, which our brakes and turns are 1 bulb, but i was wondering if it is necessary....my fire&ice bar does not have resistor on it unless it is built in

http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.as.../categoryid/26

btw, our bulb is the 2nd on the page...it replaces 3157 which is our bulb

Yeah, you do. The turn signals won't flash correctly without it.

Why spend 50 bucks on those when you can get them for half the price on vleds.com?

I ordered two red High Power Refractor and two amber 24 LED Super Refractor bulbs last week. I can let you know the differences when they arrive...and they darn well better arrive by Saturday.

Eric's front turn signals are the High Power Refractor, to give you an idea of the brightness of those. They only have them in red right now, though..but that's perfect for taillights.

You shouldn't need load resistors for lights that don't need to blink.

No. LEDs need them regardless or they will remain lit.
