Paint idea, thoughts?
So I was screwing around in photoshop the other night and decided to try painting my truck. This is one of the ideas I've been kicking around for when I get some money, black chrome on the grill and bumper piece and black paint on top. I wanted to make the plastic part of the bumper blue to match the truck but I'm not good enough with photoshop yet to make it look half decent.

before i painted a car, i would do wheels and tires... wheels an tires can give a plain truck a big attitued (not saying yours is plain at all, bc its not, but if your going to spend the money on paint, add soem more attitude to go with it)...i do like what you did though, also i noticed the headlamps...i like it, but think a pinstripe is needed to seperate the 2 colors, unless you want to do a fade? but a fade with black and blue will look, bruised...def need a pinstripe with the 2 colors
now, what color pinstripe?

Yeah I would definitely do wheels and tires first, I just couldn't get wheels photoshopped on there that didn't look horrendous (I really do need to get better at photoshop). I was thinking pinstripe too but I'm not sure what color would look good. To be honest this would not happen anytime soon due to money, but I figured I had the picture so why not get advice and opinions now? I usually try to plan out mods for a vehicle way ahead of time so I can get stuff that will work with future plans. Oh yeah, if I did this I'd get Nightrunner headlamps, I don't think that grey strip on the normal ones can be painted.
Drew, I've seen a few photoshops on here you've done, any advice on making the paint look more real? I was going for the Brilliant Black that's on your truck but it didn't come out how I wanted.

I agree with Night Runner about the color contrast. If you are going to use two colors that are that close you need something to seperate them visually or it will look kinda messy.
Now if you go with two contrasting colors then the pinstripe won't be necessary....
