Upper .039"
Lower .051"

According to owners manual

I used Bosch Super Plus 7962 on the uppers and Bosch Platinum +2 4308 on the lower. They have been in for a year or so and it runs like butter.

In the 2008 model year, Dodge upgraded the 4.7L V8.

For 2005-2007 model years, the 4.7L V8 made 230 HP and 290 lb-ft of torque. If you managed to find the rare 4.7L HO, or High Output, you got 250 HP and 300 lb-ft of torque, albeit at the higher cost of premium fuel all the time.

In 2008, they made it a lot more like the HEMI. Two spark plugs per cylinder, drive by wire throttle (fully electronic, no throttle cable), etc. 302 HP and 329 lb-ft of torque, with regular fuel and slightly better fuel economy. Kept it that way through the end of the Dakota's run in 2011.

The upper bank on top is meant to be changed like regular spark plugs, coppers. The lower bank is meant to be changed half as often, and are platinums.

so im all in for the 3923s, especially since my engine is idling like michael J Fox off his meds (going to hell for that but it makes the point) but which 3923 did you guys go with, the copper, platium, double platium or the irridiums?

whats the advantage of one over the other other than higher duability of the plug?

just did the autolite 3923 swap in my 05 4.7L and she is running beautifully, that pep is back in her step and the shaking at idle is pretty much gone, as I was pulling the old plugs I measured the gaps, holy hell they were bad and the plugs were almost eaten away at the tips all the way into the ceramic.
