Ok, I went back about 7 or 8 pages and didn't see anything. Also tried looking in the DIY thread/link but said I didn't have permission. Searching for ST or SLT wouldn't work worth a damn. I haven't seen any "Search *****" on this forum yet but don't want to invoke their fury either. Anywho, here's what I want to do (in order of ease and cheapness)...

1. The ST doesn't have a center console. The SLT does. I want to add one to my ST. I'm assuming the bolt holes or whatever are under the carpet.

2. The ST doesn't have power door locks. The SLT does. Are the wire harnesses the same? Typically vehicles are wired forsixteen speaker surround sound, moon roof w/ retractable disco ball, etc., even if the options aren't installed on that particular vehicle.

3. The ST doesn't have power windows. The SLT does. Same note as 2.

Has anyone done any/all of these? Since the third gen just started in '05, do you think there will be any of these parts available in junkyards yet? Yeah, I know I'd need to call my local ones. Does anyone have kits available?

What does the ST have instead of the console? Just the seat there?

Nothing!! There is a big empty space between the front seats.

I originally looked at the ST and didn't like the fact that it didn't have the center console.

Check with Dodge. You should be able to order one through them.

As far as the electrical, again, check with Dodge on that. I'm not familiar with that part of the truck to give you an answer.

Its not really worth doing all of that, and, I always thought the SLT's had different seats than the bench seat in the ST...

My son found rear view mirrors color matched for 50.00 for the pair for his '92 Lebaron.

 

The holes should be there! I have an ST andmine came with the center console! I couldn't imagine not having that! I have another thread where I was trying to find out about the cruise control since our ST's have the blanks already there on the steering wheel. I'll agree with everyone else, good luck finding any junk yard parts. I finally found a totaled one, but it was at a local body shop (thats where I was getting the CC from), but the whole truck got bought as is within 3 days. None others around 30 miles of S.A. and there is a boat load of Dakotas here!! If you do find out the info please keep us ST owners up to date.
