I am going to go as dark as I can. Here in S.A. I see tons of cars that are way darker than 35%. You don't have to worry about the cops here. They are too busy with robberies and gang shootings. We don't even have speed limits, in fact, if you do the posted speed limit, you are more likely to be shot for holding up traffic than anything else. Too dark of window tint is the least of my worries. Got quoted $175 for back/back windows at 5% and the frontwindows at 35%, but he wrote down an extra $25 would get me 20% on the front windows. He's throwing in a 5% 5" strip across the front as well.

damn man thats some ****...here in VA we have Saftey Inspections but they don't check tint as a part of the inspection!! and I mean if you get pulled over here for aftermarket **** they write you a ticket not make you fix it on the side of the road! thats just kinda gay!

 

Do, the windows, yourself...

It's quite easy, honestly...

You can do all 5 windows, for about 45 dollars, and if you screw up a whole roll.... it'll cost 60...

Biiiiiiig deal.... way better than 175 or 200, and you can tint any percentage you want!

 

yeah I did mine on my own...but with the rear window i took it out and took the hinge off for the sliding window and just tinted the whole window then took a razor and just cut out the hole...then just re-attach everything and put it back in! but thats just me....and it only cost me about 20 bucks for the tint because my buddy works at a tinting place and gave me employee pricing on tint...
