I sell emso I can onlybuy them when the deal is right, unfortunately when it was right we were out of v8's. I was thinking of the jet chip but I want to do a couple other mods first and then get a stage 2.

Not necessarily in this order: less restrictive exhaust, dump the resonators, get a Flowmaster muffler- your choice as to the sound you like (Meineke does a nice job); K&N cold air intake; 180 t'stat along with the Jet StageII; TB from the Fastman. Definite improvements in throttle response and MPG.

Luvmydak, is your truck a V6? I have the whole flowmaster/no resonator thing going for me allready (see signature) I figured that the Cold Air deal was next but I just cant see paying almost $300.00 for an intake. I am considering buying the one on e-bay, replacing the junk filter that comes with it and building an aluminum heat shield.

Online at www.summitracing.com Part# 10177. As I recall, it was around $31 which was cheaper than from Jet. Did not require any additional gasket as it is built in. The thermostat is located where the LOWER hose goes into the block. Important- drain your radiator first, otherwise youwill have a gusher. If your antifreeze is still clean, reuse it after the install.

Luvmydak, what kind of gains have you experienced? Better MPG? If so what do you average? Which of your mods do you feel made the most difference?

Sorry for the list of questions but it sounds like you have exactly every mod that I want. I was reading reviews on autoanything for the jet chip and it seems that everyone with a 3.7 (commanders in this case) gave it a bad rating but overall it scored well. Do you think that they are just knocking it because it did not convert ther motor into a V8??

Summit says the t-stat is for the V8. Is that the one that will work on ours?
