Ok fianlly decided on the two intakes now i need help between these two? =]
I asked you guys before to give me some insight on which intake you guys used or which I should get, so Ive decided to either get the AirRaid Intake system or the K&N FIPK...05 Dodge 4.7L...anybody?? =)
I've got an '03 4.7L with the K&N FIPK. You'll definitely hear it when you get on the throttle over a stock setup. Not sure if I gained any HP, didn't have it dyno'd, but it did seem a bit quicker. I noticed the most difference after I put on my Magnaflow cat-back. I don't have an experience with any other brands. Good luck.
I have the airaid and its a good system. I think its a little cheaper than the K&N. Either system is good. It all comes down to how much you want to spend.
i got the K&N 63 aircharger series. i would get it over the airaid system. its little more but you will see good results with it
used to have a K&N and then i got a Volant as a gift so i figured i would try it. its all the same prettymuch. i would stick with k&n, volant, airaid ect....i wouldnt go with any aem or any other crap. you also want something with thick plastic rather than steel or other types of metal. they will heat up unlike the thick plastic ones and will heat the air before it even gets in your engine. which is what you dont want

Ya, but Todd, your opinion no longer counts...
...sellout.
I'm kidding.
The AirRaid is a nice kit, but I've known the name K&N for longer, so naturally, I chose it.
