Factory flares

RE: Pictures of '08 Factory flares on an '06
Those are slick as a minnow's dick...I like the plain black ones. Too bad they're $300, what a rip. I work for a major outdoor power equipment manufacturer, and after seeing the markup we put on service/aftermarket parts, I can't stand to pay $300 for some plastic mouldings....for example, we sell replacement riding mower transmissions at a near 400% markup...I'll bet those flares cost $50 to make TOPS. If they're Chinese made, cut that by 40%. But when you're the only show in town, that's how it goes.[:'(][:'(][:'(]
I really like the look of the Tacoma PreRunner/4x4's with the big black flares, and same goes with the Dak.

Slick as a minnow's dick?[&:]
When finances permit, these flares are DEFINITELY my next purchase. I've been waiting almost 3 years for them to come out with "factory" flares for my 05.
No offense to anyone who has them, but IMO the Bushwackers look like **** and I would never put them on my truck.

The 08 flairs do fit the 05-07s though. Djsilver even posted pics of them on his 06 QC. The only part that may have to be modified, or won't work, is the extension piece for the front bumper. Which he said didn't even come with the kit he bought.
To me, the only part of the front fender that seems different from the 05-07 to the 08 is where it rolls around by the headlight. It's more of a 'softer' transition on the new body than it is on ours.
