Default Truck got hit

Well trying to get out of a parking lot, some guy in a lifted Ford rolled through a stop sign and hit me.

Me and the family are alright, but the truck has some damage...1/4 panel, hood, bumper are pretty chewed up. I'll post pictures later...

Maybe I'll get the night runner lights to replace my stock ones...that would be a nice present... maybe even the black grill with black bumper...maybe this was not such bad thing after all...

My body shop guy found em for me for 10 dollars less than stock ones...

Hoods only cost 280 dollars, those are liek 600 or something...

So I doubt he'd be able to get an insurance company to fork over extra cash....

Sucks that you have to deal with it but at least you're looking on the bright side

Thanks for the info on the price of the headlights, Frenchy...
Ya know superdak, that is a good idea as well...might as well mention it and see if I can get some new crap!!

In as much as it is in my nature to *not* be optimistic (I am more of a realist/pragmatist) Altair, in these kinds of situations, what can you do? The accident is done, we both have insurance, what is there to worry about?

I guess I will be out of a truck for a bit, it really isn't too safe to drive with the bumper hanging the way it is, but what can you do, eh?

No but he could pay the difference and be getting a $600.00 hood for $300.00 out of his pocket.
