wake up to find this
Yea, that's the problem with the Glock is that it's super light. Nothing to counter-balance the mad recoil. I think his was $500 and change with no discount. Straight up Joe Citizen price.
On a side note, here in NJ, they make it such a pain in the *** to even purchase a handgun (or any firearm for that matter). You have to have a firearms purchase permit before you can buy ANY type of gun. You even need the permit to purchase ammo. And as far as getting a CC permit here, good luck with that. You either have to know somebody high up (or blow them, as we say around here) like a judge, politician, ranked SP officer, etc., to get one for concealed carry.
Kinda' crazy if you ask me. The other 2 states that I've been a resident of during my lengthy stays there (PA and IN) it took about 3 weeks, fingerprinting, a criminal background check, and about $25, and my permit came in the mail no preoblems. But here it's damn near impossible. And our gun laws aren't even as strict as IL or MA. Go figure.
If you want one of the best handguns out there check out www.kimberamerica.com Pricey yet badass, this is my carry,

The only real problem with the Glock design is it has a partially supported chamber. This means its bad to try and shoot +P rounds out of it. I've had mine since I was a cop and I shot expert on both back then.
I wouldn't have thought this since he benches like 475, but maybe my buddy is just a girlie man. lol
Baracis, I hold the NECs of 0812- Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor and 0814 Crew Served Weapons Instructor. I'm part of a Mobile Expeditionary Security Detachment. More of what you would call a "Phoenix Raven" teams.
