Baracis, I hold the NECs of 0812- Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor and 0814 Crew Served Weapons Instructor. I'm part of a Mobile Expeditionary Security Detachment. More of what you would call a "Phoenix Raven" teams.

Lol. Limp wristed is NEVER good. He'd probably rather I "slap him and call him a *****". :/

Seriously though, I've shot a 3 or 4" snubbie .44 Magnum, and while that can turn into not a lot of fun in a hurry, I can't imagine a .45 being a problem, even on a small-framed pistol.

Oh yea, by the way, I don't know much about them but as long as Phoenix Ravens are nothing like Baltimore Ravens, I'm good with that!

No you can't. That's how you spell losers. What's up with Navy ranks for real though. Ask me what my rank is and I'll say Senior Airman, E-4. Ask a Navy guy and they're like P3MXCP13-YTTR38 and 1/2 with a special qualification in Tango Charlie X, Y and R. I'm like wtf...sooooo E-6?? haha

LOL, true. Once in a while I will hear of a rate that I have never heard of. We have rates and NECs.

My rate/warfare is MA1(EXW), it translates to......
Master At Arms Petty Officer First Class, Expeditionary Warfare Operator. Or E6, LOL

We have Navy Enlistment Classifications or NECs, here are mine.
0170 Surface Rescue Swimmer
9510 Swimming and Water Survival Instructor
9502 Navy Instructor
0812 Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor
0814 Crew Served Weapons Instructor.

And one Air Force School.
9545 Physical Security Specialist, held at Lackland AFB, TX.

Ours is pretty simple. We have our AFSC (job code) and then our rank, two seperate identifiers. Mine is 1C5X1, that defines what job I have. When asked my rank, I say SrA (senior airman) or E-4. Why is yours all combined like that. So people will have to not only know your job, but what qualification determines what rank? Seems like a lot.
