I don't think any manufacturer gives a pinch of rat S**t for the customers to be honest. Someone I know had a major ongoing issue with a GM to the point of a conference call with their dealer and General Motors headquarters. When my friend told the GM rep that they would never buy a GM again, and go to the news, etc, etc, the GM rep said, and I quote, "We lose you and we gain someone else. That's how this business works." Sad but true.

I think Chrysler should hear the complaints anyway, but don't hold your breath. That is what they have bean counters for; to weigh out the number of lost customers vs cost of replacement.

I bought my truck used with no warranty left so I will just replace mine with some Rancho's, but I understand the **** off to someone who bought new and is getting premature failure.

I have a 2007 with about 35K on it and the back end bottoms out and rides real bumpy over speedbumps, potholes, etc.

What do you think the odds are that its the struts?

Thanks

My truck has 60k and feels like the front wheels are wooden wagon wheels. Big bumps in the road and I feel like I almost loose control.

guys, the front ends on these trucks is crap. plain and simple crap. the factory struts, sway bar end links, tie rods and ball joints belong on a mid 80's toyota tacoma...not a 5k lb real truck...replace all the front end parts you can. Go with rancho or monroe struts, moog for tie rods/ball joints, etc. Anything aftermarket is way better than factory. Replace is all and replace it all as soon as you can. You will be amazed at the difference. Even the factory rear shocks are not very good. Those are cheap to buy and easy to replace. Again, it's rancho or monroe.

Lets not stretch here.....

Nothing was better then the mid-80s Toyota 4x4....you cannot compare these Dodge pickups to the 4x4 Toyota used to build.

But i get what your saying about weight.

Honestly, this thread is just good for ranting, this truck is out of production, and you shouldn't be looking to chrysler for anything when replacing parts.

My front end is all original, except the upper control arms/ball joints and one sway bar link. Even the tiniest holes and wrinkles in the road shake the truck to hell.

I will tell you this though, everyone who drives my truck for me, says it "drives and feels great". My father's Ranger rides like **** too, my friends S10 4x4 rides wonky and boaty.... They are trucks.....heavy as hell in the front, light in the back, and made for work..

If you want a luxury ride go buy a luxury car.

Yes, it was the weight thing. Not bashing those trucks. My dad had a 82 toyota and we beat the living **** out of that thing and nothing ever broke.
