Monroe or Rancho 5000's, the Ranchos are a little bit firmer.
I have the Ranchos, which I think are worth every penny, but both are a great improvement.

Im close to 70k Miles, and mine are slowly getting worse. Altho its not that bad yet they need replacing. I got quoted around $668 /w Lifetime Warranty, Unsure of the make tho, I assume Monroe.

Don't assume anything, they could be ordering stock struts. I would find out for sure.

That sounds like a lot. IIRC I paid less than that for the Ranchos (front), Bilstein's (rear), lowering shackles, and the labor for my mechanic to install all of it and remove the TM leveling kit from the front (and change the oil while he was at it).

I'm experiencing bouncing over what they call speed humps here. The truck bounces at least 3 times after driving over them. So I bought the Monroe Quick-struts (a fully loaded strut) for the front and the Monroe load balancing shocks for the rear. I attempted to put the Quick-struts in, but I could not get the original strut out. So not sure if I'm going to follow the advice on the forms and remove the bolt on the upper arm or just take it to a shop. Gonna try to do the shocks, but I have to find out why my spare doesn't drop before I can do the shocks.

Yeah I know I can do it without removing the spare... but I figure it'll give me more room to work. The spare is something I need to fix anyway... think I've read the safety is catching and not letting it drop. The cable slides down, and the tire only drops like two inches.

My rear shocks aren't too bad. But here soon I'm getting the monroe load adjusting shocks. I do haul heavy stuff from time to time. So I hope that will do.

I have 100K on my truck, and she rides like a caddy in the front and a dumptruck on the back... time to replace.

I got Monroe Laod shocks for the back, and 1 of my 2 Monroe 71100 struts (I am waiting for my advance gift card to come in the mail so I can get the other one for 50bucks or less if I use the promo code VISA)

If you play your cards right you can get car parts cheap, just makes ur head spin.
